What is Adventurers League™?

• Adventurers League™ is a system set by Wizards of the Coast© to allow people to play D&D© with others when and wherever they happen to be. Each gaming session is played using the same mechanics and under the same guidelines so that your character may be played at other gaming stores, conventions, or even at home.

 

Who can play?

• Huntington Adventurer's League is designed for players ages 13 and up.  D&D can be a complicated game with some adult aspects (Violence, war, death, language etc.) so we do recommend caution with younger audiences.   Brand new to D&D©? We’d love to have you. Pathfinder® junkie who is D&D© curious? Come have a seat. Video game junkie who hasn’t seen pen and paper? Pull up a character sheet. Wizened veteran that still remembers the good ol days of calculating a THAC0? Sit a while and listen.  We are open to having all players old and young, experienced and n00bs.

How do I join?

• The best way to ensure a seat and have a character lined up is by contacting us via e-mail at HuntingtonDandD@gmail.com .  From there, we can walk you through character creation and help get you set up. Or if you just want to jump in, just show up! We will have supplies available for you and would love to have you join.

When do you meet?

• Current adventures are held every Monday from 5:00 - 8 at the Cabell County Public Library.  Always check our schedule for the most up to date info.

What setting do you play?

• Our Adventurers League™ is focused on the Greyhawk™ setting of D&D© using the 2024 version (5.5e). As per Adventurer League™ rules, no evil characters are permitted. Don't know much about Greyhawk or D&D rules? NO WORRIES we are here to help walk you through the process.

How much does it cost?

• FREE! We attempt to have spare miniatures, dice, character sheets, etc. available for all players.

Our ultimate goal is to help promote a friendly, welcoming atmosphere so that gamers can connect and enjoy the great worlds of tabletop gaming.  We are excited and more than happy that you have interest in joining us and we would love to help out in any way we can.

• GREAT! Please feel free to send us an e-mail with the days, time, location, and contact info and we will add you to our page so that others can find you. Our goal is to promote a better gaming community in the greater Huntington, WV area so we would love to help however we can!
