What is Adventurers Leagueâ„¢?
Adventurers League™ is a system set by Wizards of the Coast© to allow people to play D&D© with others when and wherever they happen to be. Each gaming session is played using the same mechanics and under the same guidelines so that your character may be played at other gaming stores, conventions, or even at home.
Who can play?
ANYONE! Brand new to D&D©? We’d love to have you. Pathfinder® junkie who is D&D© curious? Come have a seat. Video game junkie who hasn’t seen pen and paper? Pull up a character sheet. Wizened veteran that still remembers the good ol days of AD&D©? Sit a while and listen. We are open to having all players old and young, experienced and n00bs.
How do I join?
The best way to ensure a seat and have a character lined up is by contacting us via e-mail at HuntingtonDandD@gmail.com From there, we can walk you through character creation and help get you set up. Already have an Adventurers Leagueâ„¢ character? Great! Just drop us a line and give us a heads up to make sure enough seats are available.
When do you meet?
Starting adventures are running on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 5:30 at Huntington’s premier gaming store, Hometown Hobbies. However, as our Adventurers League™ grows in interest, more game times and tables will become available. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if there is a time that is more convenient for you.
What setting do you play?
Our Adventurers League™ is focused on the Forgotten Realms™ setting of D&D©. While most of the adventures we run are standard from the adventure modules available from Wizards of the Coast©, one standard we run is that each character is in some way connected to the hometown adventurer’s guild. As per Adventurer League™ rules, no evil characters are permitted.
How much does it cost?
FREE! We attempt to have spare miniatures, dice, character sheets, etc. available for all players. Hometown Hobbies has agreed to lend us their space to meet up and play just because they are awesome like that. If you would like to purchase your own miniatures, dice, books, and/or snacks, Hometown Hobbies has a wide selection and a great staff that would be happy to help.
